WINM : «concrete solutions»

Financing

The tools created by WINM have been developed in such a way as to ease access to public or private financing for project managers and to advise SMEs in the development of new technologies. In this way there has been a significant reduction in the time needed to obtain agreement from investors and therefore negotiation is facilitated.

Corporate conflicts

The measures for mediation created by WINM have helped to resolve disputes between companies and to enable a balanced solution is reached; respecting the development of the commercial interests of each. Corporate conflicts are a costly exercise and it is, therefore, imperative to avoid uncertain results.

Legislation

The intermediation approach of WINM has been the source of agreements between politicians, representatives of NGOs and industrialists. Reaching a common accord, where there are apparent contradictions, has led to finding compromise solutions in thorny issues when balancing both economic and environmental concerns.

Territorial projects

Elected representatives and territorial management have been trained in negotiation and mediation methods by WINM. The aim is to reinforce the culture of projects in the heart of local government. The ability of these areas to become more reactive and attractive has been reinforced.

State Representation

The various negotiation and mediation techniques created by WINM have been used by different state representatives wishing to better integrate both their political and strategic issues when dealing with decision makers from the European Union.

Negotiation
... a tool for job creation and economic competitivity ;  to enable the re-industrialisation of our countries.
The loss of industry to our countries has a far reaching impact on jobs and investment. Both are costly in economical and social terms, particularly when the effective outcome is far from certain.
Furthermore, the disappearance of these economic activities leads to the risk of less innovation. In fact, contrary to common belief, it is an illusion to think that changing industrial jobs into the service sector – even in the best conditions – leads to new technical research and development. In fact, the delocalisation of our industries can create many negative factors – such as worsening environmental impacts, notably when other countries may not be subject to the same regulations or where logistical costs are high when transporting these relocated industries and their goods.
It is therefore imperative to retain an effective and efficient industrial base in order to maintain autonomy and independence for our economies. In this way,  we can better face any crises and future challenges.
Re-industrialising our territories requires various steps to be taken :
  • Optimising research, innovation and training;
  • Developing locally adapted financial aid;
  • Integrating the norms and financial challenges imposed by Europe;
  • Promoting local intelligent economic activities.
These various challenges are known and shared equally, however, it is particularly exasperating when, during periods of crisis or difficulty, there is often a feeling of powerlessness towards the push for de-industrialisation which can appear inevitable.
Our methods of negotiation have been developed with many aims such as gaining time and reaching reliable agreements, which in turn give quick, effective answers.
WINM was launched in 2009, with a goal to to assist in offering consultation and operational initiatives to encourage the re-industrialisation of our lands.
Mediation: a creator of values

Deciding to commit to a legal process can often have long and costly consequences for all parties. Over and above the legal expenses involved , the process is often slow and unwieldy, which more often than not, leads to an irreparable breakdown in relations.

Mediation has therefore many benefits. It allows all parties to maintain productivity and doesn’t waste valuable time tied up in legal crossfire. Money is saved in situations of dispute and communication is kept open between all parties.

All our studies have shown that clients and suppliers prefer to maintain good working relationships. Two thirds of French companies say that they would prefer to mediate to sort out their professional difficulties. In reality however, only one third actually use mediation in these circumstances. In the United States, more than 90% of companies turn to mediation.

French companies have a long way to go in their handling of legal situations. At the moment, 35% of them have internal structures which lean heavily on the legal route.

Mediation is often undervalued and there is a real benefit to companies to follow this route in resolving conflict.

The WINM method values thinking time and opens up various innovative possibilities, from mediation to other solutions so that all parties retain a feeling of mutual gain and respect.

All parties are allowed time to reflect on different, innovative solutions. In this way, they can consider different agreements and compromises through modifying contracts or offering legal opportunities which may not have been sought before.

The goal is to find a final solution which goes above and beyond the original hopes of all parties concerned.

We have a highly experienced and skilled team of mediators whose capacities are tailored to ensure that they are adapted to each different situation encountered. Their qualifications are undisputed but above all, they have received accolades from their clients who have found them able to offer results far exceeding their expectations.

Prior to reaching stalemate in a negotiation and before considering a lengthy court process , mediation should be tried in situations of conflict.
